What we process and why

The details you enter (name, date of birth, contact details, profile and role information, skills, availability) and your photos, videos and CV. We use them only to cast DIE SKISCHULE and to contact you about it. For applicants under 18 we also process the name and contact details of a parent or guardian.

Legal basis

Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and steps towards a possible engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw consent any time by email; processing up to that point stays lawful.

Who sees your data

The casting and production team. Files and an overview are stored with Dropbox (Dropbox International Unlimited Company, Ireland) as our processor. Processing in the USA is possible; Dropbox is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Form data is also kept on the web server running this page. We don’t sell data or pass it on.

Checking free-text answers

We automatically check your free-text answers (motivation, role questions, “Anything else”) for signs that they were written with an AI tool. For this the form measures whether text was typed or pasted and how long you spent in the field (counts only, no individual keys). The result is only a hint for our team. People decide on your application, not an automated assessment.

How long

Until the casting is finished, at most 12 months. If you agreed that we may keep your application for future productions, we keep it until you withdraw.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Email office@lensecape.com. You can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
